Cessna 152
Pre-Flight Cockpit Familiarization

Learn the panel by feel and the before-start flow by reflex, on the ground, before any of it costs airframe time.

  1. You are in the left seat of a 152. The panel in front of you is laid out as you will find it on the ramp.
  2. Desktop — drag to look, W A S D to shift in the seat, click the control the checklist calls for.
  3. Headset — point a controller and pull the trigger, or hold your gaze on a control to select it.
  4. Work the before-start checklist top to bottom. Each correct action is called out, the way an instructor sitting right seat would.

Before-start flow complete.

Engine idling, oil pressure in the green. Every item below was worked in sequence, on the ground.

A 152 and an instructor bill by the hour whether the student is flying the airplane or finding the carb heat.

This prototype covers one procedure on one aircraft. The same build pattern extends to run-up, pattern work, emergency flows, and the Redbird-adjacent ground segments already in the LCCC sequence.
